In June of 2020, I got a planned-for whippet puppy, Knavey. A year and a half later in December of 2021, I got him a whippet friend, Lya. In January of 2023, we got a border collie, Mazee.

The whippets introduced me to the world of dog sports with whippet straight racing (CWA) and I started taking pictures at the second race meet I went to. Then Lya decided to grow up and be all pretty so she got me into AKC conformation and of course, taking pictures for it. Finally, my whippets are not frisbee/agility nuts, so I got the border collie for the non-racing sports; she’s currently learning how to herd sheep, so I take pictures for this too! Clearly, one thing led to another and I have found that I not only love dog sports, but I also love taking pictures of them for people.

I’m in the middle of South Carolina, about an hour from everything and I’m open to shooting anywhere within a reasonable driving distance.
